This class will examine the development of Constitutional Law through landmark cases.  Students will do presentations on Supreme Court cases that had an impact on our rights, liberties, and government.  The class will begin with Marbury v. Madison and work our way to more recent cases like the Affordable Health Care Act cases and Citizens United.  Students taking this class should have an interest in how legal precedents are created and how the Supreme Court has affected our social, cultural, and political landscape.
  • New Class this year

If you are interested in how rights are developed, this is your class. This class will be a permanent half-credit course taught in the Spring every year except 2014-15 due to me teaching AP Government which I would also encourage you to take.
