Welcome to Marie Gattion Phillips - Sacramento Elementary school!

I am very much looking forward to another great and exciting year as the Principal of Marie Gatton-Phillips Sacramento Elementary School. I can assure you that the entire staff is fully dedicated to educating ALL of the students you have placed under our care. I know that TOGETHER WE CAN make a positive difference in the lives of your children. We at Sacramento Elementary School want you to also know that EVERY CHILD COUNTS!

This year we are continuing to focus on the extra degree, 212, by adding a new demension of leadership.  Our students will be learning and applying "The 7 Habits."  We will be "Growing leaders one student at a time" using the idea of the 7 habits along with continuing to give the extra degree in all that we do.

We also want each student to know that they can be successful every day here at MGP-Sacramento. We are dedicated to helping the individual student find success in and out of the classroom each and every day. In that light we have embarked on establishing ourselves as a 21st Century School. That means there will be some different types of instruction happening than in the past. Technology in and out of the classroom will be used more and more as the year progresses. We hope that you will take the opportunity to ask your children each and every day what they learned in school and we also know that you will help us help your child be successful by supporting our efforts in facilitating the learning process that takes place here at Sacramento

At Marie Gatton Phillips - Because we believe that TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE EVERY CHILD SUCCESSFUL. Therefore...

Everything we do at Marie Gatton Phillips - Sacramento, we do to bring success to our students who are both our future and our today.
We do this by dedicating our energies to fuel their minds to be productive, innovators in an ever-changing world.
We just happen to be a great school in the business of education.
